Terms of Use — Showroom Voice Supplement
Version 1.0 — Draft, [Effective Date]
This Supplement applies to the use of Showroom Voice, the WhatsApp-based interface to the showroom.fm platform, accessible at voice.showroom.fm and via our WhatsApp Business number (provided to you during onboarding). It supplements, and does not replace, the showroom.fm Terms and Conditions of Use (the "Main Terms"). In case of conflict between the Main Terms and this Supplement on matters specific to Voice, this Supplement prevails.
1. Voice as a Channel
Showroom Voice is an additional way to use the showroom.fm platform. By accepting this Supplement during onboarding at voice.showroom.fm, the Provider authorizes use of the WhatsApp Business number(s) connected to its account to:
- submit product, service, team, and project content for the Provider's showrooms,
- receive confirmations, status updates, and operational messages from the Voice bot,
- receive verification and notification emails at the email address provided.
The Provider remains the legal Provider under the Main Terms. Use of WhatsApp does not create a separate contract or alter the rights and obligations under the Main Terms, except as specifically supplemented here.
2. Authorization to Publish
By connecting a WhatsApp number to a showroom, the user confirms that they are authorized by the Provider company to act on behalf of that showroom. The Provider remains responsible for all Content submitted from a connected WhatsApp number, regardless of which individual at the company sends a particular message.
3. Voice Content
All product, service, team, and project content submitted via Voice — whether by voice note, text message, photo, or video — constitutes "Content" within the meaning of section 6 of the Main Terms and is subject to the license grant and content rules set out there.
The Provider warrants that all Content submitted via Voice complies with the obligations in section 5 of the Main Terms, including the obligation to hold all necessary rights and not to infringe any rights of third parties.
4. Brand Representatives and Agencies
Where this functionality is enabled and where the Provider has connected a brand representative or agency user, that user may submit Content on behalf of the Provider only with respect to brands the Provider has confirmed it carries. Each item of Content submitted by a representative or agency is recorded with attribution (showing which user added the Content and on behalf of which brand).
The Provider may at any time:
- remove a brand from its carried-brand list, which automatically suspends all representatives of that brand from publishing further Content for the Provider,
- remove specific Content added by a representative,
- remove all Content added by a representative or agency.
The Provider remains responsible for Content added by representatives or agencies as if the Provider had added it directly. Submission of unwarranted Content by a representative or agency may be remedied by removing the Content but does not relieve the Provider of obligations toward third parties under section 7 of the Main Terms.
5. AI Processing of Submissions
Voice submissions are processed by AI systems (Mistral Voxtral for transcription and Mistral Medium 3 for structured extraction). The bot then presents the extracted data to the Provider in WhatsApp for confirmation. The Provider is responsible for reviewing the extracted data and confirming that it is accurate before relying on its publication. Showroom.fm is not liable for inaccuracies in extracted data that the Provider has confirmed.
6. Tier Limits and Publication
The number of products that may be published at any time is limited by the Provider's subscription tier. The current limits are stated on the platform's pricing page. The limit applies to the total number of published products across all of the Provider's showrooms; unpublished products do not count toward the limit. The Provider may at any time upgrade the subscription tier to increase the published-product limit.
7. Email Verification
Each User must verify their email address before products they submit via Voice become publicly visible. Verification involves clicking a link sent by email at the time of onboarding. Verification tokens expire after 48 hours; the User may request a new token by sending the command EMAIL to the bot. Verification is per-user — the verification status of one User at a Provider does not affect other Users at the same Provider.
8. Termination
On termination of the use contract under section 9 of the Main Terms:
- the WhatsApp connection between the Provider's number(s) and the account is severed,
- all Content submitted via Voice is deleted within 30 days, subject to applicable legal retention obligations.
9. Changes to This Supplement
This Supplement may be amended in accordance with the procedure set out in section 10 of the Main Terms.
